We all know we can’t please everybody all of the time, but when you want your book to be a success in the marketplace, it pays to make sure it’s going to please as many people as possible as much of the time as possible.
Writing is a solitary and time-consuming act and it’s easy to get lost in the world of your book and, subjective as reading is, it’s a great idea to get as much feedback as possible on your book before you decide it’s finished and ready to send out for general consumption. It’s great if you’ve got friends or a writing group that can help you with feedback, but everyone has busy lives and it’s not always possible to get the help you need.
That’s where we come in. Our team of beta readers are all voracious and eclectic in their reading habits, some of them are writers too, and they will give you honest feedback on what they liked, what they thought worked, what they had hoped for instead and give you the impetus to make your novel the very best it can be. They will read your full manuscript and prepare a one page report on their thoughts, responding to any specific questions that you may have. For an additional fee, we can set up a private, online discussion forum where you can interact direct with your Carapace beta readers and invite any of your own to participate too.
